Martin-Christopher Harper is one of New York’s most creative and sought-after hairstylists. Hailing from San Diego, Martin-Christopher learned to address hair as a malleable fabric while studying the Bauhaus techniques of Sassoon at Vidal Sassoon Academy in LA. Congruently he partook in an extended education at Fred Segal Beauty, and upon graduation began collaborating with Los Angeles’ elite directors, actors and photographers on an array of projects. Yearning for more, in 2002 Martin-Christopher relocated to New York where he assisted legends Gregory Kaoua, Guido and Luigi Murenu. Today he keys several shows at Fashion Week and shares his talent and insight with numerous editorial and commercial clients as well as celebrities.
