Why is color calibration important to you?

Color is a beautifully spoken global language. It is a language to be learned and communicated. When everyone is speaking the same language, it’s perfection. Calibration is the dictionary that helps it all come together.

From start to finish you need to be able to see true color on your screen. People are much more color savvy in 2015. Everyone has an opinion on color now. A client should be able to expect and get correct color that matches throughout the entire process: from shoot to final delivery. With color calibration, what you see is what you get.

How do you use color calibration within your workflow?

I calibrate all of my monitors. I take calibrating very seriously.

What are some issues that may arise if you are not properly calibrated?

Not calibrating really is unacceptable in a workflow for any professional photographer. We need to be able to deliver what we promise.
